FATBOY SLIM
From Brighton, England. This "fatboy" is actually the very thin Norman Cook, former leader of Beats International and member of The Housemartins. Cook tries his hand successfully at techno this time around, having already conquered house and pop! He also made it to the number two position on the UK pop charts as Freakpower with his hit "Tune In, Turn On, Drop Out". In 2008, Cook tried a collaborative effort (as The B.P.A.), bringing together elements of rap, rock steady, and urban, and mixing them together with vocals from guests like Iggy Pop and David Byrne. 2009 saw Norman unfortunately enter rehab. 1996-present.
