FALCO
From Vienna, Austria. Johann "Hans" Hölzel is Falco, he created a worldwide hit with "Der Kommissar" in 1982. At least five English language versions of this German hit sprung up in its wake! Every few years, Falco crossed the international barriers with some loony piece of musical fluff. Falco died in an automobile crash in the Dominican Republic while on tour on Feb. 6, 1998. 1982-97.
