FAITH NO MORE
From San Francisco, California. Led by Mike Patton (vocals) with Mike Bordin (guitar), Roddy Bottum (keyboards), Bill Gould (bass) and Jon Hudson (guitar). Along with The Red Hot Chili Peppers, they started as a funk/hip-hop/metal band which eventually became more metal leaning as they progressed. The original vocalist was Chuck Mosley who sings on the band's "We Care A Lot". Courtney Love also sang vocals with Mosley at one point. Mosley was replaced in 1988 by Patton who also leads a side band called Mr. Bungle and has released a solo album "Adult Themes For Voice" in 1996. Bottum also has a side band called Imperial Teen. After 15 years together, the band officially broke up in 1998. 2009 saw the band announce that they would be reforning! 1985-97.
