FACE TO FACE
From Boston, Massachusetts. Led by Laurie Sargent (vocals) with Stuart Kimble (guitar), Angelo Petraglia (keyboards), John Ryder (bass) and Billy Beard (drums). Strong pop rock with a very produced sound, custom made for the 80's. In 1996, Sargent and Morphine's Bill Conway were sledding when a drunk operating a snowmobile seriously hurt them both. It took ten years but Laurie finally released a solo cd in 1997 called "Heads & Tales". After Morphine's lead singer Mark Sandman died, Sargent stepped in as lead singer and the band renamed themselves The Twinemen. 1984-88.
