EURYTHMICS
From London. Formed by two members of The Tourists, Dave Stewart (guitar) and Annie Lennox (vocals). One of the more successful new wave pop groups of the 80's. Their sidemen changed constantly and even featured Blondie drummer Clem Burke at one point. The word "eurythmics" comes from a form of music teaching practiced in the 1890's. After splitting, they went on to solo careers, Lennox being the more successful of the two. Dave and Annie reunited for a live performance on a 1999 awards show and decided to do a new cd. 1981-89/1999.
