From London.  After Vince Clarke called it a day with Yazoo, he eventually formed a new duo with Alison Moyet sound-alike Andy Bell.  Continuing in the dance direction established by Yazoo they have churned out many dance floor hits.  The name of the group is derived from one of Clarke's favorite movies, "Eraserhead".  Bell became infected with HIV in 1998 and decided to go public with this information in 2004.  1986-present.
