ENYA
From County Donegal, Ireland. Enya Brennan (pronounced En-ya Vree-neen) was originally a member of Clannad, a group that her siblings formed that has since gone on to great popularity. Her ethereal chants have graced many movie soundtracks and commercials and are different enough to have made an impact on alternative radio as well. Her name in its original Gaelic is spelled Eithne Ni Brhraonain. 1983-present.
