ENIGMA
From Bucharest, Romania and now residing on the island of Ibiza, Spain. Led by Michael Cretu and his wife Sandra Lauer (vocals). Dance meets Gregorian chants for an interesting diversion. The results were a law suit from the monks who were sampled but Enigma won the suit! Michael and Sandra have been making albums for years now under her name or his which results in the extensive discography seen below. Cretu is also working on a project called Trance Atlantic Air Waves. Sandra and Cretu first met when he toured with her as a keyboardist for her previous group Arabesque. Before creating Enigma, Cretu was a known producer, most notable for his work with Hubert Kah. 1976-present.
