THE EMBARASSMENT

From Wichita, Kansas.  This is another group you've never heard of that will always be hailed as one of the best.  Influential more than successful, the band's members went on to bigger and better things after moving to Boston.  Led by Bill Goffrier (vocals/guitar) with Jon Nichols (vocals/organ), Brent "Woody" Geisman (drums) and Ronie Klauss (bass).  Goffrier formed Big Dipper while Geissman ended up in The Del Fuegos.  They reunited for an album in 1990.  1979-83/1990.
