THE EELS
From Los Angeles. Led by E. (Mark Everett)(vocals/guitar) with Adam (bass) and Butch Norton (drums). This band came about after E. had already released several solo albums. Each new album from The Eels in no way resembles the previous release, making their style hard to categorize. What is consistant from album to album is the quality of the melody and the songwriting. A band worth exploring. 1996-present.
