DYNAMITE HACK

From Austin, Texas.  Led by Mark Morris (vocals/guitar) with Chad Robinson (bass), Mike Vlahakis (guitar) and Chase Scott (drums).  Typical 90's band stumbles into a novelty hit.  A new take on "Boyz 'N The Hood" a gangsta rap story (originally by NWA), now sung to a folk rock acoustic guitar.  The band claims Weezer however is their biggest musical influence.  They took their name from a section of dialogue in the comedy film "Caddyshack".  Little has come from the band since their one shot hit, their official website is dormant and there is talk of a new album in 2005 but time will tell.  1998-present.
