DIFFUSER
From Masapequa, Long Island, New York. Led by Tomas Costanza (vocals) with Anthony Cangelosi (guitar), Peter Schojan (bass) and Dan Leo (drums). Formerly known as Flu 13, they changed their name to something a little more typical of radio bands these days. Early turmoil led to the dismissal of the bassist and drummer who had been with the band since 1994. Their sound is a melodic hard rock, typical of today's modern rock but a little less screaming in the delivery. After two albums, they were dropprd by their label and the band went on hiatus for three years as the members engaged in other projects. 2008 saw new songs appear on the internet with an album to follow. 1995-present.
