THE DICKIES

From Los Angeles. Led by Leonard Phillips (vocals/keyboards) with Stan Lee (guitar), Enoch Hain (guitar), Lorenzo Buhne (bass), Jerome Angel (drums) and Clifford Martinez (drums). Originally called Jerry's Kids, The Dickies are known for their blistering speed punk covers and sense of humor. The band has traveled through many incarnations over the years. Former drummer Jonathan Melvoin died of an overdose while touring as an auxiliary member of Smashing Pumpkins. Original keyboardist Chuck Wagon also died from a suicide in 1981. 1979-present.
