DEXTER FREEBISH
From Houston, Texas. Led by Rob Kyle (vocals) with Scott Romig (guitar), Charles Martin (guitar), Chris Lowe (bass) and Rob Schilz (drums). They named themselves after a roller coaster (The Dexter Freebish Electric Rolleride) in the Astroworld amusement park in Houston, Texas. Excellent guitar pop with a mass appeal but not cheesy enough to stink! After winning a song writing contest the band signed to a major label but the usual label shake-ups left them independent by their second album. 2000-present.
