THE DESERT SESSIONS
A creation of Josh Homme of Queens Of The Stone Age. In between albums, he assembles musicians of different backgrounds to jam together out at a desert recording studio and see what they can come up with. Often productive but sometimes tedious, the Desert Sessions were largely unnoticed by the public until the surge of popularity that happened with the success of Queens Of The Stone Age. Collaborators have included PJ Harvey, and members of Ween, Marilyn Manson, Masters Of Reality, Soundgarden, Monster Magnet, Kyuss, Screaming Trees. Each volume is not necessarily a full length release, they very from singles to EP's and full length efforts. 1997-present.
