THE DEL-LORDS
From New York City. Led by Scott Kempner (vocals/guitar) and Eric Ambel (vocals/guitar) with Manny Caiati (bass) and Frank Funaro (drums). Their name was inspired from the old 50's doo- wop groups. Kempner was a member of The Dictators and in this band presents his rock in a more melodic form than his old garage rock days. After The Del-Lords called it a day, Kempner and Funaro gravitated into The Brandos. 1984-90.
