DEAD CAN DANCE

 

 

From Melbourne, Australia.  A duo of Lisa Gerrard (vocals) and Brendan Perry (vocals/ multi-instrumentalist).  Formed in 1980, they played an ethereal mixture that became noticed by the public at large when ambient music became popular.  At the end of 1998 the duo ended their partnership and both can be expected to be creating movie soundtracks in the future.  1984-98.
