DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL
From Boca Raton, Florida. A solo project led by Chris Carrabba (vocals/guitar) with musician friends and hired players. A veteran of several bands, Carrabba has come to represent the prime example of the emo/emocore movement. An initial burst of success was followed by a subtle follow-up album and then a lull of several years before returning again in 2006. Carrabba's strong vocals and pop sense take his music a level above his peers and far beyond the emo movement. 2000-present.
