DAFT PUNK
From Paris, France. The techno duo of Thomas Bangalter (vocals/multi-instrumentalist) and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo (vocals/multi- instrumentalist). First signed to a Scottish label they are one of the more popular techno acts of the new century in Europe. Their music relies heavily on sampled sounds from the disco era of music, as evidenced by their sampling of Barry White's "I'm Gonna Love You Just A Little More Baby" in their hit "Da Funk". 1996-present.
