CAPTAIN SENSIBLE

From Balham, England.  Ray Burns (vocals/guitar) earned his reputation as one of punks more enthusiastic sidemen in The Damned.  His solo career has been a hodgepodge starting with a hit cover tune from the musical "South Pacific" and his hit "Wot!" which slams most of his contemporaries while ripping off the bass line from Chic's "Good Times".  His later solo work explored psychedelic rock.  These days he still manages to release an occassional solo while touring with The Damned again.  1981-present.
