From London. Led by Toni Halliday (vocals) and Dean Garcia (bass/programming) with Chris Sheehan (guitar) and Monti (drums). Another pair in the closet of shoe gazers! Swirling noise over ethereal vocals. Halliday's career began with the encouragement of Dave Stewart of Eurythmics fame. After some abortive group work, she got together with Garcia and formed a dance pop band (State Of Play) that released one album in 1986. The group broke up, Halliday then released a solo album before teaming again with Garcia for Curve. Curve broke up in 1994 and reformed a year later but finally came to an end with an official announcement in 2005. 1986/1991-94/1996-2003.
