CURIOSITY KILLED THE CAT
From England. Led by Nick Thorp (bass) with Julian Brookhouse (guitar), Ben Volpeliere-Pierrot (vocals) and Miguel Drummond (drums). British white soulsters come up with their fifteen minutes in the spotlight with the hit "Misfit", a Wham-ish pop confection. They shortened their name to just Curiosity when Thorpe left after the first album. Recent years have shown the band working on a comeback. 1986-89.
