MARSHALL CRENSHAW

From Detroit, Michigan. Marshall Crenshaw (vocals/guitar) started early and recorded his first work as a teen in 1974. This troubadour began his professional musical career portraying John Lennon in a touring company of "Beatlemania"! By 1980, Robert Gordon had covered "Someday Someway" and turned it into a hit. Marshall's own version would come out the next year. Crenshaw's style is a unique blend of power pop and rockabilly/country influences. As recently as 1996, his song "'Til I Hear It From You" was a hit for The Gin Blossoms. 1981-present.
