From Deri, Wales. The former leader of Liverpool's The Teardrop Explodes. Known for being an eccentric and a bit on the crazed side, Julian is one of the most unique artists in alternative rock. Never one to rest for long periods of time, he has peppered his discography with limited independent releases as well as major label forays. He has become a successful author and issued a book defining "Krautrock" and its influences as well as a book on the ancient Druids. 2001 served the debut of a new band project called Brain Donor. 1983-present.
