From Edinburgh, Scotland. The former leader of Briatin's enormously popular Orange Juice, from 1980-84. His biggest hit with them was "Rip It Up" in 1983. As a solo artist, he's been successful and managed to score his first solo hit this side of the Atlantic with the Bowie-ish "A Girl Like You". Edwyn's career came to a halt in February 2005 when he suffered a cerebral hemorrhage. He is now under a long process of rehabilitation, slowly regaining his basic human abilities. 1987-present.
