From Rockport, Massachusetts. A former back-up singer for Peter Gabriel, Paula Cole didn't make much of a splash with her first solo album. Her second album however featured naked photos of the singer on the cover and the successful whole life in a few minutes scenario of her hit "Where Have All The Cowboys Gone?". She found acceptance pretty quickly this time around and gained exposure by joining The Lilith Fair tour. However with the passing of America's interest in all things Lilith, so went interest in Ms. Cole's musings. After taking time out after an unreleased fourth album and giving birth, Paula's fans are waiting for her next musical delivery. If her internet single "My Hero Mr. President" is any indication of where her thoughts are at, she could again come back huge or disappear into Michelle Shocked territory, time will tell. 1995-present.
