SUPERFLY
"Flynn"
From Boston, Massachusetts. Led by Eric Sean Murphy (vocals) with Martin Crotty (guitar), Ira Nulton (bass) and Lex Lianos (drums). Known for the hit "Through An Open Window", the group felt a need to change so they dropped the name and changed it to Superfly in 1997. The band adopted a techno sound and all personnel remained the same except for Nulton who left the band. Then while house painting in 1999, Crotty fell from a ladder and seriously injured himself. He returned to music in 2001 under the new name; Flynn and continuing to work with Lianos, has released several solo albums.
