From Bristol, England. Clail is the leader of Tackhead which pairs him with the On-U Sound System (members of the Sugar Hill Records house band). This same outfit also used to record under the name Fats Comet Crew. Led by Gary Clail (vocals/sampling) with Keith LeBlanc (drums/keyboards), Doug Wimbish (bass) and Skip McDonald (guitar). Clail's only alternative rock hit to date is a cover of Michael Jackson's "Human Nature" with a decidedly different feel. Wimbish later joined Living Colour. 1985-93.
