BERLIN
From Orange County, California. Led by Terri Nunn (vocals) with Dallan Baumgarten (guitar), Mitchell Sigman (keyboards) and Chris Olivas (drums). Berlin was always an ever changing band from its start and continues to be today. The group's first singer was none other than Toni Childs who wrote most of the early tunes, but she quit the group to pursue her solo career. Most of her compositions are on Berlin's first album "Information" which features Virginia Macolino on vocals. After that album, leader John Crawford assembled a new version of the band which would become very successful with the vocal talents of actress/singer/figure skater Terri Nunn (vocals) with Crawford on (bass), Dave Diamond (keyboards) and Rob Brill (guitar/keyboards). This version of the band mined all their major hits, other auxiliary members were added for touring. After the band broke-up, Nunn released one solo album while Crawford and Diamond went gothic and released two albums as The Big F. In 1996, Nunn revived the band with a new line-up and released a new EP in 1999. In 2004 the original members briefly reformed for the VH-1 show "Bands Reunited". Nunn continues to lead an ever-evolving line-up with new recordings. 1979-87/1999-present.
