BELLY
From Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Led by Tanya Donelly (vocals/guitar) with Tom Gorman (guitar), Chris Gorman (drums) and Gail Greenwood (bass). Donelly is a founding member of Throwing Muses and after leaving that group and her other side project The Breeders (along with Kim Deal of The Pixies), she set about creating Belly with her childhood friends the Gorman brothers. After two albums, Donelly went solo. Greenwood became a member of L7. 1992-96.
