BE BOP DELUXE
From Wakefield, England. Seminal 70's band led by Bill Nelson (vocals/guitar) with Andy Clark (keyboards), Charlie Tumahai (bass) and Simon Fox (drums). Best known for the song "Ships In The Night". The band is considered influential in the turning point of pop towards more electronic sounds. Nelson would later become a prolific solo artist. Tumahai passed away in 1995. 1973-78.
