T-BONE BURNETT

From Ft. Worth, Texas.  Singer/songwriter/producer.  Joseph Henry Burnett formed the Alpha band in the 1970's after playing in Bob Dylan's Rolling Thunder Review and later became a noteworthy solo artist.  His role as a contemporary producer for Counting Crows, Los Lobos, The BoDeans, Elvis Costello and others has cemented his musical influences on today's guitar oriented bands.  T-Bone then made his greatest achievement to date, producing the million selling soundtrack to the movie "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" which helped to spawn a new recognition for traditional bluegrass music in this country.  He is now so in demand as a producer, we will be lucky to see anymore recorded material from him exclusively!  It is often rumored that it was Burnett who was the cause of Bob Dylan's conversion to Christianity and the resulting career turn that resulted.  Burnett was also married for many years to singer Sam Phillips who he very quietly divorced in 2004.  1972-present.
