JEFF BUCKLEY

From Orange County, California.  Jeff is the son of 60's folk singer Tim Buckley.  While respecting his father's memory, Jeff's music was all his own and bore no resemblance to that of his father.  Unfortunately, like his father, he died young.  On May 30, 1997 after a night of recording and drinking, Jeff decided to take a swim in Memphis Harbor, was swept into the Mississippi and drowned.  His body turned up several days later underneath a bridge on Beale Street, a street known as legendary in the world of music.  1993-95.
