THE BRAINS
From Atlanta, Georgia. Led by Tom Gray (vocals/guitar) with Keith Christopher (bass), Mauro Magellan (drums). This band churned out early 80's pop with a mean edge that never really caught on. Their most popular song "Money Changes Everything" was later a hit for Cyndi Lauper. After the break-up, Christopher and Megellan became members of The Georgia Satellites. Since 1996, Gray plays in a blues band called Delta Moon and has authored a book on the history of the dobro. 1979-82.
