THE BOO RADLEYS

From Liverpool, England. Led by Martin Carr (guitar) with Sice (vocals/guitar), Tim Brown (bass) and Rob Cieka (drums). One of the better Brit-pop bands, their biggest hit "Wake Up Boo" was banned by the BBC! The band's name comes from the character Boo Radley in the book "To Kill A Mockingbird". The band announced that they were splitting up in February 1999. Carr went on as a solo act under the name Brave Captain, taken from the song by fIREHOSE! 1990-98.
