THE BoDEANS
From Waukesha, Wisconsin. A duo of Sammy Llanas (vocals/guitar) and Kurt Neumann (vocals/guitar). Originally a four piece, they are a classic American rock and pop group that belongs on any type of rock radio station. Former drummer Guy Hoffman left to join the Violent Femmes. Llanas has lately been concentrating on a side project called Absynthe while Neumann also released a solo disc. The band underwent a bit of a renaissance in popularity when their song "Closer To Free" became the theme song to the television series "Party Of Five". The 90's brought an extended break for the band and several solo releases from both leaders. In 2004, the band finally reunited with a new album and tour. 1986-present.
