From London. UK white soul pretenders. Alternative pop led by Dr. Robert (Bruce Robert Howard)(vocals) with Neville Henry (saxophone), Mick Anker (bass) and Tony Kiley (drums). During their career, their music was often associated with their anti-Margaret Thatcher leanings which may have been instrumental in stalling their career. Dr. Robert is a solo act these days, his voice still retains the qualities that made the Blow Monkeys so special. 1982-90.
