BLANCMANGE
From Middlesex, England. A duo of Stephen Luscombe (keyboards) and Neil Arthur (vocals). The group's name is pronounced blah-mahnj. Their sound was similar to their contemporaries, Heaven 17 and early Depeche Mode. An important band in the history of synthpop. Neil Arthur went on to release two solo cds in 1992 and 1994. Stephen Luscombe had a side band he worked with called the West India Company. Since 2006, the duo have reformed and have been working on new material which they have slowly been releasing since 2009! 1980-85/2009-present.
