From Long Beach, California. The once and current Pixies leader, Black Francis changed his name and style. Frank's real name is Charles Michael Kitteridge Thompson IV. As a solo act, he has departed from the sound of The Pixies but has improved on himself as an artist with each new release. 1993-present.
