BIG WRECK
From Boston, Massachusetts via Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Led by Ian Thornley (vocals/guitar) with Dave Henning (bass), Brian Doherty (guitar) and Forrest Williams (drums). This band broke through with their hit "The Oaf" which sounds like Soundgarden splattered against a copy of Led Zeppelin's "In Through The Out Door". How this hoedown ever made it onto alternative radio is anyone's guess. Mostly resembling late 70's hard rock, they were hardly alternative. The band imploded after only two albums. Thornley now leads the group that bears his name and released their first album in 2004. 1997-2002.
