From Glasgow, Scotland. Roddy Frame (vocals/guitar) is the band, the original members having long ago moved on. Frame's career longevity is remarkable considering just how many musicians traveled through the ranks of the band including former and future members of Haircut 100, Orange Juice, The Ruts, The Bluebells, The Smiths, and The Colourfield. Frame's pop sense travels from breezy love songs to the unexpected hit acoustic cover of Van Halen's "Jump"! While most are familiar with the edited version of this hit, we suggest you seek out the full version from the "Backwards And Forwards" EP which climaxes in a feedback mayhem! In 1995, Frame decided to stop using the band name and proceed with his solo career. 1981-95.
