THE AVENGERS
From San Francisco, California. Led by Penelope Houston (vocals) with Danny Furious (or Danny Fearless)(drums), Jonathon Postal (bass) and Greg Westermark (aka Greg Scars)(guitar). An important California punk band, their only studio album had Steve Jones of The Sex Pistols guesting on guitar. 2001 saw a touring version of the band reunite and play select California club dates. Houston went on to a long standing solo career featuring wide style changes. 1977-78.
