JON ASTLEY
From Manchester, England. The brother of singer Virginia Astley and brother-in-law of Pete Townshend of The Who. His association with Pete has made him an in-demand producer having already revamped and remastered the entire Who catalog. In his recording artist days, he made the hit "Jane's Getting Serious". This song was later used in a Heinz ketchup commercial that featured the debut of actor Matt LeBlanc of "Friends". As a producer, Astley is recognized as one of the best in the business, it's a shame he chose not to continue his recording career as well. 1987-88.
