ARTISTS UNITED AGAINST APARTHEID
A one shot compilation of artists spearheaded by "Little Steven" Van Zant to raise funds for the fight against apartheid in South Africa. The project featured Little Steven as well as Lou Reed, Peter Gabriel, Afrika Bambaataa, Stiv Bators (Lords Of The New Church), Big Youth, George Clinton, Bono (U2), Peter Garrett (Midnight Oil), Bob Geldof (Boomtown Rats), Joey Ramone (The Ramones), RUN-DMC, Peter Wolf (J.Geils Band), and a dozen more rockers and rap artists. A very ambitious project. 1985.
