THE ART OF NOISE
From London. Originally created by ex-Buggles leader Trevor Horn to perform the music on Malcom McLaren's first album, the band took on a life of its own without him! Led by Anne Dudley (vocals/keyboards) and J.J. Jeczalik (keyboards/programming). The band went into a long hiatus where even though they didn't create new music, they created new remix albums of existing tunes done in whatever the current dance trend (techno, drum and bass, ambient) might be! Dudley rejoined with creator Trevor Horn, Paul Morley and former Godley & Creme member Lol Creme on their first new material in eight years! Dudley, a child prodigy, won an Academy Award for her work on the soundtrack to the movie "The Full Monty" in 1998. 1983-present.
