THE ARMOURY SHOW
From London. Led by Richard Jobson (vocals) with Russell Webb (bass), John Doyle (drums) and John McGeoch (guitar). Jobson and Webb were formerly part of The Skids while Doyle and McGeoch came from Magazine. A short lived project. Jobson has continued on as a solo act while McGeoch became a member of Siouxsie & The Banshees and died in his sleep at age 48 in 2004. The band named themselves after the Armoury Show of 1913, one of the most important art exhibitions of the 20th century! 1984-87.
