THE ARCADE FIRE
From Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The seven piece collective known as The Arcade Fire is a group full of multi-instrumentalists! Led by Win Butler (vocals/guitar/bass/keyboards/harmonica) with his wife Regine Chassagne (keyboards/vocals/accordion/xylophone/drums), Richard Parry (guitar/percussion/ bass/keyboards), William Butler (percussion/guitar/bass), Tim Kingsbury (bass/guitar), Sarah Neufeld (violin) and Jeremy Gara (drums/guitar). This fire was fueled by a huge buzz over the internet and then public notice by a huge fan, David Bowie! Bowie has championed this group to anyone who will listen to his opinion and has appeared with them as a guest in concert. Testament to his power of the media, you find the group listed here although they have yet to crack the US charts. 2003-present.
