ANGELS & AIRWAVES
From San Diego, California. Led by Tom DeLonge (vocals/guitar) with David Kennedy (guitar), Ryan Sinn (bass) and Atom Willard (drums). Leaving pop punk behind and straying into anthemic new wave instead, DeLonge explores a new sound with this post-Blink 182 project. The band's sound was not a huge hit with the public however and by their sophomore effort, they were reduced to opening act status on tour. The band members bring some pedigree to the project as former members of The Distillers, The Offspring and Box Car Racer. Matt Wachter from 30 Seconds To Mars joined the band in 2007 replacing Ryan Sinn. 2006-present.
