AMMONIA
From Perth, Australia. Led by Dave Johnstone (vocals/guitar) with Simon Hensworth (bass) and Allan Balmont (drums). The band's original name was Fuzzswirl before Hensworth joined. The band came to national attention on Triple J, the radio station that plays alternative rock in Australia. A few successful EP's led to a stab at worldwide fame that fell short. The group split in 1999 after their second album. 1995-99.
