AMERICAN MUSIC CLUB
From San Francisco, California. Led by Mark Eitzel (vocals) with Mark "Vudi" Pankler (guitar), Dan Pearson (bass), Bruce Kaphan (guitar) and Tim Mooney (drums). One of the great American bands that never seemed to find a home on the radio or with the public but universally lauded by the critics. After a ten year run, Eitzel moved on to a solo career. Pearson and Mooney formed the band Clodhopper. In 2004 Eitzel reassembled the band for a new album and tour, but the old line-up was waving a last goodbye. In 2008, a new album appeared with Eitzel and Pankler leading and new members Sean Hoffman (bass) and Steve Didelot (drums). 1985-95/2004-present.
